Visit of the JSDF Joint Staff College JAC Advance team to the Republic of Latvia

October 29-31, at the National Defence Academy of Latvia.
One of the wishes of the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) Joint Staff College Joint Advance Course (JAC) team during their visit to Latvia was to visit the National Defence Academy of Latvia (NDAL). The purpose of the visit was to gain first-hand observations and experience. These will serve as a basis for the student officers' visit next year. As this was the JSDF Joint Staff College's first visit to the Baltic States, it was a special event and a great honor for both the guests and the host. The Japanese delegation also plans to visit the Ministry of Defence and the National Armed Forces of Latvia. They aim to learn about Latvia's defence policy, education and training system. This visit marks the first step in building future cooperation and friendly relations between the military authorities of Latvia and Japan.
