International Maritime Semester for National Defence Academy cadets in Italy
Expanding their international maritime education, National Defence Academy cadets are participating in the Erasmus+ mobility program at the Italian Naval Academy. From September 23rd to December 21st, cadets study subjects such as Naval Electronics, Naval Computer Networks, and Maritime Security alongside international cadets. Basic Course for Officers Specialists
Between August 28 and December 20, the new National Armed Forces (NAF) officers specialists are training at the NAF Infantry School, the NAF Instructor School, and the National Defence Academy of Latvia. The purpose of the Basic Course for Officers Specialists is to provide general military knowledge and skills so that the learner can independently fulfill professional duties as an officer specialist according to the specialty as chaplain, lawyer, doctor, conductor, psychologist, information and communication technology expert, pharmacist or military public relations expert.

Land Forces Platoon Tactics Course for National Defence Academy Cadets
From August 26th to December 13th, the National Defence Academy conducts a Land Forces Platoon Tactics Course. The course prepares cadets to lead platoon-sized units in near-real combat conditions and full-spectrum operations. Learn more about the Land Forces Military Leadership study program.
